PRP is an autologous concentration of platelets in rich plasma with numerous growth factors which helps in HAIR REGENERATION. The growth factors which present within the Alpha Granules of platelets act on stem cells in the bulge area of the hair follicles and stimulate the development of new follicles. Activation of alpha granules in platelets releases numerous proteins, which includes

Platelet rich plasma was prepared by collecting patients own blood with anticoagulant in collecting tubes under proper aseptic condition and followed by centrifugation. After processing the centrifugation, the platelets was seperated from plasma. Now from the seperated platelets rich palsma was extracted and with addition of activator was injected over affected area of scalp.
The treatment should be repeated for every 2 weeks a minimum of 6 sessions or more according to the necessity. Platelet rich plasma for androgenic alopecia is a simple, costeffective and feasible treatment option for hair loss sufferers and can be regarded as a valuable treatment modality for androgenic alopecia.
